Dry Mead
This is a VERY DRY AND SIMPLE Mead, made by fermenting honey with no fruit and no sulfites and almost no residual sugar. Ours is a lot less sweet than most meads, and should go well with fish and shellfish (not salmon). We have noticed that people who like this wine tend to like beer, and those who LOVE our sweet Blackberry might NOT like this dry Mead.
And be warned; Mead generally throws a sediment and gets cloudy. We have not overcome this, but we have found the flavor of our Mead to be unaffected by the sediment, as long as the color is golden, not bronze.
Dry Mead Wine Information
This is a dry and simple Mead wine without sulfites, made by fermenting only honey and resulting in almost no residual sugar. Most of our Mead fans like dry whites, beer, and rice wine.
