Elderberry Wine

Elderberry wine without sulftes added! Kosher, natural wine.

This elderberry mead wine is more like grape wine than Honey Run's other varieties, and is on the sweet side. It has been referred to as "instant port" by numerous tasters. Our winemaker enjoys Elderberry Honeywine by itself, or with a splash of blackberry grappa (brandy could be substituted).

Elderberry Honeywine retains its fruity flavor for up to a year, or longer if kept cool. We have tasted bottles kept under the stairs for six years, and they were delicious, but even more like a blackberry port. Serve chilled.
